1. Death without moral decay
I have sincerity in my hearts and concord

2. If time has lifted its troubles from me
I see no change in my morals

3. I withstand the sorrows of time and its army
And the charging of the swift knight

4. A matter in extending the truth and loyalty
And the inclination of passion with ease

5. And I glorify the great generation for its determination
In words, deeds and papers

6. And I see degradation as small even if
The horizons of the world grow towards it

7. The writer is Abdelwahid Al Badr who
Gave the slaves the sweetness of liberation

8. And I saw that praising him is an obligation
On whoever desires my praise or intends my defiance

9. So he answered with averting the eye and aloofness
And inclination, forgetfulness and evasion

10. And he saw the answer, its certainty and necessity
Like the permissible so we have nothing left

11. God knows what I wrote to a companion
And met him on the day of embrace

12. Not for ulterior motives or war with him
But for praise and the agony of oppression

13. Also for preceding his rights and merits
And his acts and sayings of truth

14. So no matter how excellent one counts his words
Thanks for the good deed of the swift one

15. It is no wonder that his acts are praiseworthy
Described with the virtues of compassion
