1. They have deprived us of righteous courts,
The pillar of righteousness and virtuous women.

2. They belittled it, robbed it
Of its glory, grandeur and honors.

3. The chapter on Resurrection and Gathering wept,
As did the verses of The Chargers.

4. Reverence wept with a voice
Almost drowned by a downpour of tears.

5. Keep us all from the unlawful,
And cut off the hands of thieves, male and female.

6. All bribery, graft, and plunder,
Are abominations to all people.

7. We have studied customs, possessions,
Adornment, The Messengers, and The Coursers,

8. We absolve the office of Sharia righteously
With honest livelihood and extra.

9. Apportion for governors, soldiers and rulers,
Their sustenance from the proceeds.

10. And be guided to righteousness through knowledge. Authority is
Consultation with clear proofs.

11. Lord, may Your mercy be upon the Sharia, rulers,
Reformers and reforms.

12. And people of merit, chastity, religion,
The miserable, male and female.

13. Our Lord, erase plundered money
Of bandits and corrupt governors.

14. Our Lord, be stern with the hearts of wolves
In the guise of sheep amongst people.

15. May Allah pardon the causes of unleashing them
Upon the Muslim men and women.

16. For the wolves of office were set loose, causing strife
Amongst the believing men and women.
