1. Today it is good for me to hear the melody
And to spend the night in Sanaa like the regretful

2. And to remain in comforts that embrace me
The white wishes that were for us a dream

3. The gardens stretched out to Sanaa greeting it
With palms, so it stretched out its hands generously

4. And welcomed it with a face whose rising
Was great glory, greeting it when it smiled

5. God is Greatest! This is a wonder, a marvel
For the Muslims, angering the Romans and non-Arabs

6. With it we the Muslim community will build a university
To nurture it for as long as we have religion and mercy

7. We will strive and succeed in uniting our world
As those before us strove to unite the nations

8. If one of us stumbles in life
We will quickly rise to lift up his feet

9. Or if a Westerner rises against our law
We will all rise against the Westerner for revenge

10. No opposition can reach any contempt from us
Drink the water of passion and race without concord

11. Do not think dividing you is an honor
No! Does rebellion honor you?

12. Revive Arabism through reconciliation for it is
A spirit that solves its death if it is lacking

13. Rush and visit your capitals without delay
For visiting is marked with what was marked

14. Purify your chests, ask it to heal them
You are buildings and thus was known

15. And finally we send you our regards
Our sincerity will seem to you very great
