1. A generous one, if you come to him seeking,
Spares you asking though you ask repeatedly.
١. جَوادٌ إِذا جِئتَهُ راجِياً
كَفاكَ السُؤالَ وَإِن عُدتَ عادا
2. His nature is like your sword's bright blade -
Time works no corruption in such nobility.
٢. خَلائِقُهُ كَسَبيكِ النُضا
ر لا يَعمَلُ الدَهرُ فيها فَسادا
