1. When the countries are unrecognizable
The first of them is shrouded in distance
١. وَإِذا تَنَكَّرَتِ البِلا
دُ فَأَولِها كَنَفَ البِعادِ
2. And make your stay or your abode
The sides of the basin of brambles
٢. وَاِجعَل مقامَكَ أَو مَقَر
رَكَ جانِبَي بَركِ الغِمادِ
3. You are not the son of the residents' mother
Nor the cousin of the countries
٣. لَستَ اِبنَ أُمِّ القاطِني
نَ وَلا اِبنَ عَمٍّ لِلبِلادِ
4. And look at the sun that rose
Over Iram and Aad
٤. وَاِنظُر إِلى الشَمسِ الَّتي
طَلَعَت عَلى إِرمٍ وَعادِ
5. Will it keep company
To the remainder of the present ones among them or those that perished
٥. هَل تُؤنِسَنَّ بَقِيَّةً
مِن حاضِرٍ مِنهُم وَبادِ
6. All treasures other than piety
Of the Majestic One will run out
٦. كُلٌّ الذَخائِرِ غَيرَ تَق
وى ذي الجَلالِ إِلى نَفادِقال:
٧. مجزوء الكامل
وَإِذا تَنَكَّرَتِ البِلا
٨. دُ فَأَولِها كَنَفَ البِعادِ
وَاِجعَل مقامَكَ أَو مَقَر
٩. رَكَ جانِبَي بَركِ الغِمادِ
لَستَ اِبنَ أُمِّ القاطِني
١٠. نَ وَلا اِبنَ عَمٍّ لِلبِلادِ
وَاِنظُر إِلى الشَمسِ الَّتي
١١. طَلَعَت عَلى إِرمٍ وَعادِ
هَل تُؤنِسَنَّ بَقِيَّةً
١٢. مِن حاضِرٍ مِنهُم وَبادِ
كُلٌّ الذَخائِرِ غَيرَ تَق
١٣. وى ذي الجَلالِ إِلى نَفادِ
