1. He has a bright, splendid oration,
Yet their burdens for them are heavy,

2. Rather it is a concealed love, rather it is homesickness,
Their falling is painful to the bones.

3. In Al-Qa with plenty of wealth,
There is no protection for the respected ones from him.

4. The monitor came prancing, leaning his spear,
She obtained her trait and the friend was lost.

5. Death did not leave any power for the eminent ones,
By which he ascends and becomes long.

6. O sons of Malik bin Fahm the killed one,
None amongst the people equals him in being killed.

7. What glory they presented to a lance,
That was not prevented from them while it was humiliated.

8. What eye aimed any plot against you,
That you did not return it while it was little from you.

9. What limit did you oppose with a limit,
That did not leave it while it was weak.

10. You were many while the many amongst you were few,
And the great, dangerous one amongst you was insignificant.

11. You were the people of tyranny, if
The direction of the pigeon turns to where it inclines.

12. Are you few in number so you say,
“We are few in the struggle?”

13. Or weak from taking revenge so you enjoyed
Drinking humiliation while the weak is humiliated.

14. Women who, their husbands were mourned,
Indeed, their husbands were their protectors.

15. Or slaves to Rashid and Musa,
Which one of these groups are you? So, speak up.

16. No man was mourned for her and no tears were shed
As her weak, bent elbows sufficed her.

17. Does not the good opinion of fleeting fortune
Expect that it will bend and turn.

18. O sons of Malik, you have tied my tongue,
How can the tied, reasonable one walk? If you take the path of action,

19. The path to speech became clear for me,
Or if you refused, I stopped questioning: can the extent of my questioning reach the intended?

20. Where are the branches of glory from taking revenge? Or where is its expected cave?
Where is Ma’n while they, when affliction flares up

21. Lions whose panic runs from them.
And Banu Jahzam and they are the respected mountain whose extended branches became strong.

22. Where are the claims of Banu Sulaymah, the tall,
Their young and their old men?

23. And Al Jaramiz, our impenetrable fortress, our pillar,
And to whom in struggle we resort.

24. And the dissenters by whom the humans' panic
Is warded off and who is pouring, bending.

25. And pigeons whose leader, when none hoots
Except the concealer, the finicky one.

26. And our horsemen on whose horses,
From their war, blood flows.

27. And the protectors of time from the family of Dahman
When humans and stallions are brought out.

28. And my pillars from the family of Seyyid when
The war shimmers and death descends.

29. And Sulaymah, the brave, when he who arms himself with a coat of mail and the medium spear put it on.
And Sharik whose young men when no weapon benefits

30. Except the flexible and smooth Indian sword.
And the horse keepers for the bushes, the sons of Qasmil.

31. If you fear the loss of bushes.
And Banu Amm from Judayd specifically

32. And my pillars in every matter are plenty.
And Banu Hazir, my hand and my tongue,

33. And my Indian sword, the polished.
O sons of Malik bin Fahm, the killed one

34. Their honor lies in Daharis that cries.
Indeed, in the two gardens, he perished bent over,

35. No less a person rested there killed.
Do the blood spill out of fear O people?

36. Neither perdition nor blood is sought.
And in the Tawad of Oman, while amongst you

37. A great number of honor and glory lies.
For Banu Assama, elevation upon the lowly

38. With what you obtained from humiliation, suffice.
Their hearts did not become disgusted and their inhabited place

39. Became the open space for their family and animals.
Do you reckon to equal whom they likened

40. By avoiding the likeness of the like? You mustavoid them.
O son of Hama, determination is for the eminent one,

41. So, do not slacken when the trains are pulled.
This is not the state of the enraged:

42. A lying place, singing, blossoms and inclusions.
And an early rising, spending the night chatting,

43. Grilling, shedding blood and carrying.
But his clothes when misfortune wraps in darkness,

44. Is the clothes of black twisted wool.
And his lying place is a piece of woolen fabric above a shoulder,

45. Whose bed is the rough ground of the desert.
And his boon companion is the revolutionary whose sword’s edge angered him

46. And the protector of bandits, a humiliated cheek.
And his dining companion is a she-goat, mother of a baby goat

47. And chased meat, the broken down, the wilted.
That is the revenge not the one which

48. The morning nap dismissed and it became soft and trailing.
O Sulayman, prepare the determination forward,

49. You will attain the bond drawn tight and twisting.
O horseman, you are the star of endeavors,

50. You are the preparedness, the protectors, and the pillars.
O Sulaym son of Malik who perished, the master, the pillar, the killed one guided us.

51. I swore an oath to avenge him,
In which there is no relief for the swearer.

52. If death had turned away from him he would have become
A leader followed by procession after procession.

53. The blood will not be lost as long as
Amongst them there is a participant and beautiful endurance.

54. What day is for Rashid and Musa?
That day, if you know is heavy.

55. A day in which closeness of relations does not benefit,
A day in which the excuse with it is not accepted.

56. So Allah has made wretched he who prevented panic from us,
Wherever the insignificant takes with the insignificant.
