١. لي في دَواةِ الفَتحِ أَحسنُ مِدْحَةٍ
بِفُنونِها لِذَوِي العُقُولِ فُنُونُ

By Allah if the iron realized some of what
٢. تَاللّهِ لَوْ فَطَنَ الحَدِيدُ لِبَعض مَا
أَنا نَاظِمٌ فِيهِ لَكانَ يَلِينُ
