1. And the days of your hunting remind me of an excursion
For which the days of my life stand up and sit down

2. Chasing wild beasts or chasing flying flocks
Whose necks kiss the ground as they alight

3. Their horses compete with the vizier’s falcons
And their arrows ascend high into the air

4. To fell the birds as they swoop down to the ground
And the horses have a place to gallop in the sky and ascend

5. So do not deny their two states in those arenas
For there the hunting birds bear witness
