١. وَقهوةٌ سَبَقَتْ كُ
لَّ مُدَّةٍ وَأَوانِ
2. I wondered why it was called
The daughter of misery
٢. عَجِبْتُ مِنها تُسمَّى
مَعْ ذاكَ بِنْتَ الدِّنانِ
3. If it was truly named
It would be called the mother of time
٣. وَلَو كَنَوْهَا بِحَقٍّ
لَقِيلَ أُمَّ الزَّمانِ
