1. If you are steadfast therein, the clouds will say out of jealousy:
"Be gentle, for the torrent has reached the thickets."

2. And he whom the seas fell short of attaining turned back,
while the steps of the rain turned away from him, whether he wished it or not.

3. Leave the dawn in your world for its sun,
for since it settled in its shade they have not been estranged.

4. Else try its summit if you can,
and who is it that desires a position among the stars?

5. And the veils have not concealed the kingdoms of God like it,
so it still remains veiled from the eyes of calamities.
