١. مَا النَّاس بِالصُّوَرِ التي شَاهَدْتُهُمْ
مِنهُمْ وَلكنْ خَلْفَهُنَّ معَاني
2. Tell me their meanings and leave their forms
Lest you be like an idol worshipper
٢. فَاخبُرْ مَعَانِيهُمْ وَدَعْ صُوَراً لَهُمْ
كَيْ لا تكون كَعَابِدِ الأَوْثانِ
