1. I have servants I appointed before this one
Yet no honorable reply did they bring
١. وَلي خِدَمٌ سَطَّرْتُها قَبَل هذهِ
وَلَمْ يَأْتِ عَنها بالجَوابِ مُشَرِّفُ
2. So remember me in absentia amongst those you remember
For you are to me an eye that does not look away
٢. فَكُنْ ذاكِرِي بالغَيْبِ فيمن ذَكرتَهُ
فَلي عِندَكَ العين الذي ليس تَطرِفُ
