1. Recite the verses of al-Qarid for they are
More precious though well guarded from the covetous
١. قِفْ نَبكِ أبياتَ القَريضِ فَإنَّها
أقْوتْ وكَمْ حُرِسَتْ مِن الإقواءِ
2. And they would certainly shed pure blood
To alleviate their desolation with generosity
٢. ولَقَدْ يَقِلُّ لها بأَنْ تَبَلي دَمَاً
مَحْضاً لِوَحشتِها مِن الكُرَمَاءِ
