1. Since you left, I've known only sorrow and regret
You have not tasted sorrow or regret
١. لي مُذْ نَأيْتَ أَسَىَ وَلي أَسَفُ
لا ذُقْتَ أَنتَ أَسَىً ولا أَسَفَا
2. And though the veil of the sun's abode has enabled me
To attain and reach the most noble place
٢. وَأَوَدُّ سِتْرَ الشَّمْسِ أَمكَنني
كَيْما أَجِدُّ فَأَبْلُغُ الشَّرفَا
