1. O you who are full of tenderness, the scheming of the wretched misfortunes,
And a ray of light yearned for after the clouds,

2. I am lost without your guidance in your absence,
Wandering blindly towards a generous light.

3. I buy dreams in the market of wishes,
And sell my life in the market of worries.

4. Do not tell me we have a tomorrow,
For the promised tomorrow is as elusive as the stars.

5. Tomorrow you said, so teach me patience,
If only I can shorten my life span.

6. A whiff of joy passed through me,
So my heart and I danced drunk.

7. A bout of madness swept us,
So we competed in wishes.

8. We will bear the light until it fades,
And bear the night until it hides.

9. My heart and I were alone at night,
Weaving hopes and whispers together.

10. We rode illusion seeking her home,
And folded the universe to reach her.

11. We attained her and exalted her,
Alighting immortality, bestowed with bliss.

12. We met eternal beauty and youth,
And enjoyed the eternal majesty.

13. My heart said, we really attained,
How did fate sleep unaware of us?

14. Was it a trick that befell us,
Or a conjecture among our conjectures?

15. I said do not worry, many a destination,
Deemed hard until it exceeded hopes.

16. God permitted it after ambition,
So we relaxed, rested and felt safe.

17. O gardens of eternity, I gave my apology,
As my malady and destruction roams eternity.

18. O commander of the dominion of love,
Pardon the fervor of my soul and passion.

19. I yearn for your embrace to heal,
As if I am a thirsty man taking revenge.

20. But whenever I stretch my hand,
For an embrace, I fear lest my fire hurts you.

21. O light, greetings and devotion,
O temple, silence and bowing.

22. You possessed my heart and mind with awe,
Blowing at the heart and mind altogether.

23. Words I prepared to say to you,
Refuse to obey when I meet you.

24. And reproaches captive in my mouth,
Rebel so my tears gush forth.

25. A teardrop scalding my cheek stung me,
Waking me from a useless misguide.

26. Those visions vanished from my sight,
As the hidden took them in my sorcery’s chill.

27. So neither you, nor the gardens of eternity,
Nor the ghosts of bliss are left.

28. And I am drowning in my ordeal,
Spending my days lonely in my affliction.

29. Give me my lyre and let me lose myself to fantasy,
Serve me illusion and justify the absurd.

30. Leave truth to those who seek it,
Adversity is my opponent, so drown me in misguidance.

31. And take the lights away perhaps,
I may find mercy in the darkness of nights.

32. Leave me burning with fervor, promising I will attain tomorrow,
For to me tomorrow is like eternal future.
