1. Visit the palace valley, what a fine palace and valley

١. زُر وادِيَ القَصرِ نِعمِ القَصرُ وَالوادي
لابُدَّ مِن زَورَةٍ مِن غَيرِ ميعادِ
2. Visit it, for it has no equal,
Whether a house present, if you wish, or a ruin
٢. زُرهُ فَلَيسَ لَهُ شَبَهٌ يُعادِلُهُ
مِن مَنزِلٍ حاضِرٍ إِن شِئتَ أَو بادِ
3. Its dovecotes are hidden, and the plant stands erect,
And the fish, the hyena, the sailor, and the echoer
٣. تُفى قراقيرُهُ وَالعيسُ واقِفَةٌ
وَالنونُ وَالضَبُّ وَالمِلاحُ وَالحادي
