١. يَدَاكَ يَدٌ خَيرُهَا يُرتَجَى
وَأُخرَى لِأَعدائِهَا غائِظَه
2. The hand with goodness hoped for
Is most generous in its giving
٢. فَأمَّا الَّتي خَيرُها يُرتَجَى
فأجود جوداً من اللافِظَه
3. The hand whose evil is feared
Makes the enemy's soul quake
٣. وَأَمَّا الَّتي يُتَّقَى شَرُّها
فَنَفسُ العَدُوِّ لَها فائِظَه
