1. O Vanquisher of tyrants, above Your servants
To Your subjugation the victorious raised my complaint

2. A complaint of one subjugated by the injustice of an oppressor
Who roams freely in the house in the security of ignorance

3. A complaint of an oppressed, wronged, humiliated one
Who sees truth abandoned without any support

4. I seek refuge from the subjugation of men, for so long
As You have taken my side, and subjugation is Your protection

5. And never, O Vanquisher of all, has the arrogance
Of an adversary grown to match Your arrogance

6. Nor has the subjugation of the subjugated exceeded its limit
By a hair's breadth of God's preordained subjugation

7. The attributes of subjugation belong to the Subjugator Who
By His power has humbled all manner of creation

8. And from when things came into being, they bend to His command
He brings back and initiates without condition or cause

9. They have no escape from the grip of His subjugation
And their actions are an emanation of compulsion

10. Reveal, O Truth, as the name the Subjugator inwardly
Upon the enemies of God the swiftest violence

11. Is there any share for me if I subugate desire
And my soul from the corruption of my nature?
