1. With Your name, O God, I pleaded sincerely
To remove my soul's misfortune, leaving naught behind

2. And take me with Allah's light from my humanity
To the world of sanctity from my lusts

3. And tear apart the veil of concealment between me and what
I had turned from of my simple life

4. And ignite my existence with a flash of His overflowing grace
With a brilliance that eliminates the darkness of my attributes

5. And realize with the divinity of the Name my lowliness
So that my humanity wears dignity and protection

6. And strip my existence where I have no selfness
An existence and existence commanded by You forbidding

7. Overflowing upon it the Name of Majesty an overflow
So my majesty prevails, compelling and transcendent

8. And from the world of sanctity Your takings of me
By its effect in my world according to my state

9. And from the kindnesses of favors grant me its secret
Kindnesses where the universe disappears yet they are as they are

10. And strengthen my witnessing after realizing what I am
By what He is and reveal to me through it the ignorance of what is in me

11. And erase with it the darknesses of my ignorance and heedlessness
So the lantern of my essence shines with light
