1. O Ever-Living before all life, Living of Himself
Without needing life from another,

2. O Ever-Living, none but His life exists,
So all souls need His spiritual essence,

3. O Ever-Living, Granter of life to all the living,
Metaphorically and truly the Giver of life to Himself,

4. O Ever-Living, without beginning or end to His life
Or finality that could limit His perpetuity,

5. O Ever-Living, before existence and its opposite,
Both related as acts of creating and ordaining will,

6. O Ever-Living, Reviver of souls after their extinction,
Raiser of the eye of primal creation,

7. O Ever Living, Reviver of the earth after its death,
With no imprint on His nature from creating physics,

8. My life was misled by attachment to appearances,
And so stumbled into countless pitfalls,

9. My life went ignorantly, ignoring the Real,
Caught up in the ends of my passions and desires,

10. So pour on me from Your Name’s eternal fount,
Reviving me, to heal the brand of misery on my soul,

11. Flowing with life’s secrets, light and guidance,
Breathing the spirit of knowledge into my humanity.
