1. O Harmful One! How futile is harming whom you intended
With harm, while removing harm is God's sole dominion

2. You harm, but none can rise above you
Nor can the harmed evade you through any means

3. You harm as requital and tribulation as He wills
And that is justice preceding in the case

4. The servant questioning his Lord's action is impossible
But God's word was true

5. The existence of harm is not from our sheer power
Of essence, devoid of preceding power

6. I disavow length, strength, and might
Other than God in benefit or any harm

7. Harm is from You, benefit from You, and wisdom necessitated
The occurrence of destinies in causal forces

8. Causal forces have no action of their own
Rather, they are effects of action and power

9. My God, I have surrendered to Your decree willingly
Delighted with the pillar of Your will

10. You have removed, with Yourself, the harm that touched me when
I was certain that God would remove my hardship

11. And with the utmost of harm, take a bold spirit
To God return the gaze, greatest of takings
