1. My God, You have graciously shown beauty,
And veiled, O Forgiver, every ugliness.

2. My God, no ugliness like sin has appeared,
With which the self of Your divine creation is marred.

3. My God, the servant lives as long as he remains disobedient,
And You, my God, cover his sins.

4. He challenges his Master knowing
That You enumerate his apparent and hidden deeds.

5. My God, how wretched is my self that leads me
To that which You do not approve, devoid of shyness.

6. It wades into the depths of sin, which has come between it
And You, above depth upon depth.

7. And You nourish it, and You nurture it
With wellbeing at every state and blessing.

8. I have returned to forbidden things until I committed them
And You see, my Lord, the vileness of my steps.

9. My God, I now acknowledge my sin repenting
To You, so pardon me, my God, my slip.

10. "And indeed, I am Forgiving toward he who repents." Return me
To Yourself, so do not send me back disappointed.

11. My God, just as You sent Your veil enveloping,
So find for me in erasing sins, something great.
