1. Your glorious name, my Master, appeared with mighty perfection,
So inspire me with my inadequacy and the humility of my servitude,

2. And inspire me to knock on the door seeking refuge,
With the glory of loyalty to Your majestic authority,

3. And inspire me to offer my face humbly,
To Your face, my Lord, in my hope and awe,

4. To You, as You are the one whose help is sought, I turned,
My ambitions and lack of means besieged me,

5. And my Master did not neglect, and to intimacy,
To You, but my Master's generosity brought me near,

6. It suffices, my Master, that You are merciful to me, directing my affairs,
Choosing what is best for me,

7. You have taken care of me since creating my nature,
With the blessing of originating and sustaining me,

8. And You have led me as You willed, my Master, obediently following Your affairs,
Giving from God my capability,

9. And the relationship of attachment gives an image,
Through which I knew, and it is not by affecting an image,

10. And I have no responsibility for negation or affirmation in it,
Except the trace that did not dispel the destitution of my nature,

11. Afflictions contended for my side, my Master,
And in Your hand, O God, is the key to my relief.
