1. O Just One, I complain of oppressions to Thee
I was powerless against an oppressor of power like Thee

2. He has tyrannized and ruled, O Almighty, spreading
Corruption before Thine eternal omnipotence

3. He has rebelled in insolence, O Almighty, and beneath him
Are the perils of the insolent, not slow to come

4. Make safety, O Almighty, though he feels secure
Bearing his case on cunning and procrastination

5. Restrain him, O Almighty, for he has transcended
The degrees of humankind in his ascent

6. Tear him, do not delay, to fragments entire
Afflict him alive, O Almighty, with vengeance

7. Seize him and scatter utterly his band
Leave of them on earth not a blower of fire

8. Rain down on them, O Almighty, lightnings of
Chastisement; fill them with most hideous confusion

9. Unsheathe against them Thy sword of wrath, O Almighty
Snatching their souls in one swift stroke

10. Set upon them Thy conquering host, O Almighty
Leave them in weakness and disgrace

11. Shake their pillars and thrones in whatever land, O Almighty
And region they inhabit
