1. The will preceded the ladder of the seeker
So turn back, perhaps you will precede the pioneers

2. The tongues of truth called you, so turn
Toward the call and toward that summoner

3. March your determination to the mustering, perhaps
The determination preceded and surpassed every riding camel

4. It has nominated you for its affair with proofs
Its everlasting stars displayed obvious beauty

5. Do you see it calls you, the Beloved, unto its nearness?
So if you draw near, it casts you into remoteness

6. If you went astray from the light of beauty in a scene
You would see the secret of grace in martyrdoms

7. The light of beauty radiates upon manifestations
So observe it depicted upon creations

8. If not for it, its majesty’s light would have incinerated
And you would be ignorant of the wisdom of the world of opposites

9. It cast you into the abode of annihilation for a wisdom
Whose realities were concealed from individuals

10. And it called you, “Come to Me and fear not
Among those who strive toward Me from My hosts”

11. You are the trustee of Our trust which
Burdened the spheres and the mountains

12. Do you think to fulfill it without My help
Or were you bearing it without My will?

13. I clothed you in the seven pairs robe
In a temple from the world of bodies

14. So shed your thick clothing which does not befit
The witnesses of Our presence with the martyrs

15. And wash with the water of holiness the ten subtleties
Which are you from the filth of devious dispositions

16. I made you drink five seas that you may live
Thirsting excessively with the water-drawers

17. So I poured it for you from the attributes of the Essence in
The eye of manifestation and origin of unities
