1. O You who originated all things from nonexistence into
Being, and from the unseen into the evident,

2. O You who originated evolution, inventing it
Without any prior example of the matter,

3. O You who originated the existent with a beginning made ready
For its return after the annihilation of creation,

4. O You who originated bringing into existence, for no cause
Other than Your being the Chooser of origination,

5. O You who originated creation, as an ordered universe,
Wondrously wise, a witness to divinity,

6. O You who originated possibility, not out of necessity,
But out of the mystery of eternal wisdom,

7. O You who originated the artifact with a face lit
By the light of the attributes of incomparability and necessity,

8. O You who originated mysteries out of Your kingdom,
Brides bestowed upon purified souls,

9. O You who originated lights from Your presences,
And who originated the gnosis of enlightened intellects,

10. You are sanctified! So begin for me the life of my innermost consciousness,
And a light by which uprightness walks among people.

11. And begin for me gnosis, and make it my ascension
To You, and let me forget in the worlds of my desolation.
