1. O You whose greatness in His majesty
Is endless, O Greatest One eternally

2. And minds are bewildered to describe His greatness
For there is no comprehending, yet it is reality

3. And from His greatness is the greatness of divine power
And glory, governance, kingdom, and might

4. And from His greatness, where perfection is His essence
He is not attributed to causes, no need or necessity

5. And from His greatness, the greatest of created things
Are too great to be compared, no similarity

6. So consider from His greatness, no creature has a share
Except to see its incapacity and inability to describe

7. There are no dimensions or essence
To necessitate imperfection in the True Reality

8. The mantle of greatness falls away, and rightly so
Falls away, no match or partnership in any degree

9. My God, my state is incapacity, poverty and annihilation
And my greatness is my humility, O Greatest One, and my lowliness

10. So how fitting for one whose state is such as this
To rebut and negate any claimant without proof

11. So great are my hopes in You for every request
And in all that pleases You, my resolve and my zeal
