1. You have guaranteed, O Sustainer, our provision
Without limit between abundance and scarcity

2. So there is no use worrying about provisions
Except to trust in You, for the allotment of provision cannot be changed

3. You have predetermined for all creation their share
According to their needs, by means of causes

4. And You have facilitated the means of attainment
In ways appropriate for different livelihoods

5. You have not made the means the cause of their provision
Rather, it is an arrangement of grace and wisdom

6. My God, my certainty in Your guarantee is my pillar
And Your grace is the best provision for me

7. It is enough that You watch over
My provision before I even raise my hands in supplication

8. Asking the servant is an obligation on Allah
For the ease or hardship He has ordained for each

9. And all the creatures of this universe seek their provision from You
And obtain the guarantee of Your Lordship

10. And the desperate have no recourse in obtaining provision except
Through supplication and the means You have opened

11. So I, miserable as I am, call upon You
To expand my livelihood through the abundance of Your name, The Sustainer
