1. O Forgiver of sins, forgive me for shameful deeds
That I dared in public and private

2. I'm used to them, I have no excuse for committing them
Except my corrupt nature and intensity of desire

3. O God, I intentionally committed sins as if
Due to my frequent sins, they bring me closer

4. Boldly committing them, not with insight
Or pleased with the judgment of insight

5. The Quran admonishes me in the negligence of passion
Yet I turn away from it, persisting in my negligence

6. And it wasn't denial that distracted me, but passion
Adorning me until it became my description and adornment

7. Quick to the pleasures of the soul from passion
Slow from virtues, disgraceful page

8. When the call of truth shouts loudly
It's as if when it passes the ear, it's deaf

9. That's my habit, although I'm a monotheist
My repentance and faith in You are my argument

10. Forgive my stumbling, O Forgiver of sins, for I have
Certainty of Your forgiveness and mercy

11. When the repentant plead with the argument
Of Your generosity, my Lord, that is my proof and means
