1. I saw all beings with encompassing vision
Without any impression, O All-Seeing, All-Knowing One

2. I saw what no other creation has seen
In it absolutely, not through mediation

3. I saw the True Seer by His Essence, not by what
They say regarding the attributes from eternity

4. And the Truth is none but Your Essence is perceived
All-Seeing without monopolizing the means of aid

5. I saw my own state, its apparent and hidden
And the affairs I have cast away and my poverty of being

6. And how burdened I am in all stations
And the darkness of my heart and blindness of my inner sight

7. O God, make me see myself and my worth
For I have utterly lost myself in ignorance of my rank

8. O God, by what I have seen of my shortcomings
And my poor choices, You conceal my faults

9. And where can I flee and hide when You, O
All-Encompassing, All-Witnessing One, are ever present?

10. O God, I am veiled by dense coverings
Shackled by my ignorance and blindness

11. Yet in seeing the True by the All-Merciful lies escape
No misery of mine is hidden from You, my Lord
