Lest grasping be without argument

5. O You who guided obligated beings, both mankind and jinn
Perfect guidance, grace in laying the proofs

6. O Guide of intellects in that You honored
Their guide by creating guidance

7. O You who guided the knower to nearness and who
Guided the sincerely repentant to moral integrity

8. O You who guided the heart of the devotee in his sincerity
To the Real, so the subtlest hint shines

9. O Guide in that You brought Your people
To the highest stations and precedence

10. May Your guidance guide me, O Guide of rectitude, so guide me
To what obligates good pleasure through every act of nearness

11. Grant me a share of the guidance whereby
To You one is guided and guides people in affection
