1. My God, accept my repentance, O Acceptor of repentance
I present sincere repentance from my inner self

2. I present it for the mistakes I have committed
And You, my God, know the truth of my repentance

3. And if I have not been truthful in my repentance, I have
With Your guidance, O God, the strongest handhold

4. I present my repentance sincerely, not feeling safe
From my self, lest it entice me back to sin

5. For how many times have I presented repentance sincerely but
My self nullified it after I had resolved

6. A miserable path, my Master, if You do not
Save me with firmness and protection

7. And who am I that You would be pleased with the sincerity of my repentance
If You do not prevent me from the evil of my choice

8. I am now innocent before You of what I have committed
And I submit my face repentant of my crime

9. And I did not fear being rejected, O Acceptor of repentance, disappointed
For You are All-Aware of my supplication and my repentance

10. And I hoped after repentance for nothing but acceptance
And after sincerity of intention for nothing but reward

11. And who am I to present repentance that reaches the level of acceptance
If You do not free me for it from my self-conceit
