1. People hastening before my passage
And stopping when the banners flutter

2. Galloping right or left
At the march of the army when the flag is raised

3. Concerned with what’s ahead or behind
When the front or rear is disrupted

4. But supplication, when a pure
Conscience invokes it, makes supplication availing

5. May Abu Al 'Ala be rewarded with kindness
He intended righteousness and your sublime company will console him

6. It will console the soul about those who have passed
That all will be overtaken by demise
