I hunted hares and deer within fate's power
١. وَساعَةً لِلزَمان مُسعفَةً
قَنَصتُ فيها أَرانِبا وَحَجَلْ
2. Yet God sees not in me a thing of worth
If I assail not every foe on earth
٢. فَلا أَراني الإِلاهُ مِنكَ رِضاً
إِن لَم أَصِد مَن عَداكَ كُلَّ بَطَلْ
