1. Your loved ones have come to worship you, O Light
And gifts have come to you from your loved ones
١. حَجّوا مَواليكِ يا بُرهانُ وَاِعتَمَروا
وَقَد أَتَتكِ الهَدايا مِن مَواليكِ
2. So gift me some of what they have gifted you
Let my gift be no less than theirs
٢. فَأَتحَفينِيَ مِمّا أَتحَفوكِ بِهِ
وَلا تَكُن تُحفَتي غَيرَ المَساويكِ
3. And I will not be pleased unless you send
What adorns your mouth or dwells in your heart
٣. وَلَستُ أَرضاهُ حَتّى تُرسِلينَ بِهِ
مِمّا جَلا الثَغرَ أَو ما جالَ في فيكِ
