1. When dawn appeared, I was certain of the ruin,
So I asked my Lord for the best outcome,
١. لَمّا بَدا أَيقَنتُ بِالعَطَبِ
فَسَأَلتُ رَبّي خَيرَ مُنقَلَبِ
2. They did not rise except for lasting,
Al-Harithi and the tailed star.
٢. لَم يَطلُعا إِلّا لِآبِدَةٍ
الحارِثِيُّ وَكَوكَبُ الذَنَبِ
