1. The animal is created
You have a right over it

2. Allah has subjugated it to you
And to servants before you

3. Bearer of heavy loads
And wet nurse of infants

4. And feeder of the community
And servant of agriculture

5. It is its right to be treated kindly
And not overburdened

6. If it gets tired, let it rest
And treat it if it gets wounded

7. Do not let it starve in your home
Or suffer in your neighborhood

8. A helpless beast
Complaining yet unable to express

9. Its tongue is tied
And it has no tears
