1. Why do you smile at this world and its ultimate end

He did not account for the insects of the land that accompanied

4. The soft one was being harmed by his dreams
The worms, shrouds and soil befriended

5. Life is not known until it passes so we see
The truth of life through the eyes of death and lies

6. All facts in it are questionable
Except death, it refuses doubt and suspicion

7. In my knowledge and experience
I’ve never seen anything as real as death

8. Nor anything before it as play
No great prophet died

9. Without fulfilling what was deserved
Nor did two equals get folded after him

10. With his virtues in people not lost
So if you pass the world pass young man

11. Don’t pass like most people confused
Eternity has two paths: the eternity of people after them

12. With remembrance and eternity with God hoped for
I cry for Rafa’a I cry for knowledge and literature

13. I cry for chivalry and virtue that have been veiled
I cry for rhymes circulating like the sun

14. I cry for pens, ink and books
I cry for conversations all literary

15. After you I cry for the Arabs
Oh son of one who sent Egypt his knowledge

16. Your father was like a father for the people of the land
You were orphaned and the darkness of ignorance filling it

17. Like the sun and moon I do not call out like comets
Raising righteous sons for it

18. And bringing out the elite of the state
Gratitude is more right and duty for people

19. To those who rain knowledge over those raining gold
The grammarians said, the best and most noble died

20. I said, God willing the best of their posterity
God does not destroy a house of noble origins
