3. You were bidden farewell with the tears of a laughing mourner

4. Minarets and pulpits roared over you
And angels and mourners wept over you

9. Indeed those whose war wounded you
Their peace killed you without wounds

10. With their hands they violated the honor of their pride
Adorned with the gifts of the Opener

12. Suffice that the long nights brought it down

17. Issued corrupt edicts and said perversions
And brought disbelief to the countries openly

18. Indeed those on whom his jurisprudence flowed

19. If they speak they speak with the muteness of cohorts

20. I seek forgiveness for morals, I am no denier

23. And shall I say the restorer of rights is a debaucher?
The truth is more deserving of your reverence

24. And more right to support and struggle
So praise the men of truth and blame them

25. Or rid yourself of the stances of an advisor
And of men, if you rise up for their destruction

26. A tough old man of sturdy shoulders
So if you hurl the truth at their hides

27. It will leave the struggle shaking the planks
Give sincere advice to the warrior, he will gain insight

Arrogance made the leader drink of its spirit

29. How is your cunning in laying the spirits low?
He transferred the laws, beliefs and sanctuaries

31. That no longer worships specters
They gave him free rein like a Caesar among them

The obedience of the masses deluded him

33. And the commoners found in it the pleasure of comfort
And if you take glory from Omayyads

34. You will not give anything but its fleeting mirage
Who will tell the Muslims words

35. Inspired by nothing but sincerity and advice?
The era of caliphate, I was the first defender

36. To ward it off from its basin with skill
Love of God's essence has been and still remains

37. And passion for God's essence and reform
I am the lamp, I am not spent

38. Until I become the moth of the lamp
The expeditions of Adam were crowned with splendor

ูุตุจุงุญู ููุณุชู ุจูุถุงุฆูุนู
ุญูุชูู ุฃููููู ููุฑุงุดูุฉู ุงูู

39. And the conquests of Unur were detailed to brilliance
Their swords drew back and their resolve showed

ููููุชูุญู ุฃููููุฑู ููุตููููุช ุจูุตููุงุญู
40. While others were preoccupied with inaction
Do not bestow the Prophet's coat on an incapable

41. Dismissed one who defends it with ease
Yesterday he wounded the Muslims with a wound

42. And today he extended to them the hand of a healer
So you will hear in every land a caller

43. Calling to the liar or to prostration
And you will witness in every land a sedition

44. In which religion is sold for a pittance
Fatwas are issued based on al-Muizz's gold and sword

45. And the passions of souls and their relentless hatred
