Each person's fate written, none can evade

Balm for the body from harm to deprive

9. Who enjoys no death, through great deeds will live
Heroic acts make one death deride

10. The dead remain if their works stay alive
As the world is imprinted with what they contrived

11. Say to the arrogant, rich and esteemed
Exalted lineage cannot death override

12. This life ignores warnings, slumbers unredeemed
Cares not for loss till the final collide

13. Ruins and rubble - that is its fate predecreed
Death renovates what finery tried to hide

14. A gnat challenging death was slapped in its conceit
Against the earth, its hunter could not chide

15. The fly's proboscis stabbed where blades failed to skewer
Made for the Indian sword or the fly's snide

16. By destiny's whisper the deed was done quick
Its innocence lost by its saliva's slide

17. Hear not what spirits say in ignorance boast
With lies and fabricated knowledge they chide

18. The soul belongs to God, His might exceeds all
His knowledge profound, where none can reside

19. Deluded they are by their conceit's downfall
Like the defeated, wits all set aside

20. No tyranny lasts, judgement day will appall
When all evil's reckoned, none can deride

21. The tyrant when alone can be withstood
Not under his crown and robes of pride

22. While the lone fool, his harm stops in the wood
Like a sheathed sword, danger put aside

23. Was Tutankhamun embalmed but to delude?
His soul dressed as a gnat, all pomp denied?

When lifelong loyalty he for you cried

25. By God, if Giza's pyramids were your gift
It would be too small for all you provided

26. You brought it glory, made it your heir
As nobles you welcomed, their place secured

27. All people you told of its hallowed prayer
And gathered them around it, their faith assured

28. Without you adorning its stony lair
No added glory would have endured

29. The pigeon outdid the hawk in renown fair
While you excelled all in vision cured

30. You hauled rocks with resolve and dedication rare
Time passed as you piloted its course assured

31. Had the dead their skulls exchanged in reparation
Lost in confusion, their wits obscured

32. Undeterred, undaunted, you persevered
Until you unlocked all mysteries obscured

33. Reaching history's close, all was made clear
Even Pharaoh midst food, was secured

34. Your bed's perfume, scent spreading near
Pearls and garments, all so assured

35. As if harvesters all their yield collected
Fruits and vines, nothing immured

36. A grave holding what no scabbard contained
Of bygone glory and pomp assured

37. Civilisation's palace, culture's fane
Meet in the tomb, equal when immured

38. There time bears its burdens all the same
As today time's vigour is obscured

39. Knowledge meets ignorance in Hades' reign
Art meets wonder in hell secured

40. My brother, you have reached destinations plain
Where worldly travels all lead assured

41. A realm where passions on all sides detain
Only the vigilant stay secured

42. Enemies sleep, their hatreds restrain
Friends find beloved thoughts assured

43. Eternal rest, a timeless domain
Stillness complete no more obscured
