1. O Saad, if you entered London
Victorious and triumphant like Antarah

2. And the Lord came to you at the station
And his followers carried your luggage

3. And you walked carried on shoulders
Among people standing and cheering

4. And it was said this student of the Imam Mura
Welcome to him and a thousand horrays

5. The Lord chose him from all people
Moderate in principle and stature

6. As if he were the brave youth victorious
Darting between rows of admirers

7. Both have gifted us their love
After the evil that corrupted our origins

8. One conquered us with shining swords
And the other once with the university

9. So stand and speak in the Tamimis' sons
And praise the dear oppressed nation

10. And tell them you have taken Pharaoh
And the poor slave found help

11. From me and though the days have passed
Love and respect for him remain in my heart
