2. Why the arrogance and pride
Didn't you remember your beginnings

3. Days when you had nothing
Not even a crust to fill your mouth

4. You wore ripped clothes and everything was narrow except your pores
From right to left, forward and backward

5. The winds wear out their lines
And your scratching increases the wearing out

6. You walk in the morning to the evening
Perhaps a generous evening will see you

7. You visit homes seeking
Sustenance for poetry that has no end

8. The ruins of houses cured him
And so did the valley of Al-Arak

9. You didn't forget all that
You didn't forget your grandfather or father

10. But the inattention of a nation
That worshipped calves before that

11. Forgot your past which
If told, would make you ashamed and regretful

12. You thought your vices and immorality
And naivety in your lifetime were from wisdom

13. Your mentor was a temple of wisdom
Where knowledge was folded in your arms

14. Religion and the redeemed nation
Bear witness to your shepherding

15. You describe majesty and occupation
From here or from there

16. And you say, my Master told me
Conceal it, do not reveal it

17. It's all lies, by your Lord
A trap you set up

18. It is what made you great
And made you sit on the throne

19. It amassed for you a lineage
That before had no known father

20. The ample gift became your cloak
And trash became your crown

21. Until you were swollen and announced
The Saud's separation from you

22. You rode the back of ignorance
And fell, stumbling in your blindness

23. The house of Al-Mu'ayyad, do you know
What the sheikh Jak brought of shame

24. All the scandals and disgraces
Noble from your pots

25. Why didn't you collapse from the foundation
And go cry because of your daughters

26. For the law of Muhammad
Has drawn a sword for demise

27. It takes the necks that want
To violate the freedom of religion

28. Enough O Sheikh Al-Mu'ayyad of what has passed or is enough for you
A ruler made you taste bitterness

29. And muted him, giving him a drink
Evil, carrying the wrath

30. Of the One who destined the fall of your likes
Glory to the One who apportioned livelihoods

31. Your beginnings and no endings
