7. Overburdened, you rise swimming in your halo
When you display your rings and show

A watcher over the darkness, when it

9. Cast its staff, you shattered it with your staff
A wing for the bird the night entrapped

10. So it spent the night grasping the thorns
O you bird, the willing soul cannot

11. Attain what it desires, so free it
You apportion creatures with your light

12. The Pen of Light inscribed them, so unravel it
