1. To the Mount of Mercy, O best pilgrim
Upon you is Allah's peace at Arafat

2. And the day you head towards the glorious House
A young moon among humankind and destinies

3. Upon every horizon in Hejaz, angels
Bear Allah's greetings and blessings

4. When the horses of kings are praised, they
Are lesser than your horse in the deserts

5. At the door Jibril the Trustworthy with his flag
Messages of the Merciful perfumed breaths

6. In the Honored Kaaba, a welcoming pillar
Like the pillar of weavers and corner of the Pure

7. Mizab didn't pour water but granted you instead
Bounty and mercy in floods

8. Zamzam flows between your eyes in springs
Of abundant sweet Kauthar gushing forth

9. They stone Iblis the Accursed so he burns
With embers and flames hot

10. Taha greets you in his abode of purity
And knows the obstacles you overcame

11. The Rightly Guided praise you with righteousness
And many a compliment from tongues of the Chaste

12. To you is this religion, O Lord of Pilgrims who gathered
For the Sacred House and its fine sands

13. I see people of all lands and every region
Come to you from estrangement and dispersion

14. They are equal before you, no difference in lineage
Or status unlike before you at prayer

15. In your sanctified soil, a shining forehead bows
That the defiant bow to out of all foreheads

16. Bright as the full moon, silent like the dawn
Lowering in truth at time of prayer

17. O Lord, if you tamed for your servant Salih's she-camel
It would not be so difficult

18. O Lord, can a car or plane bring closer
Those far in the lands and deserts?

19. O Lord, on the Day when deeds are recounted
Can any pilgrimage suffice for a servant's sins?

20. You see I harmed no soul, committed no wrong
In my life's secrets or apparent traces

21. No misfortune or blessing overcame me
Beyond the wisdom and patience you granted

22. No thought entered my heart but good
When desiring the best things to inhabit it

23. I never dwelled but as Jesus, peace upon him
Compassionate to those envious, forgiving their wrongs

24. No soul bore love of homeland like mine
In my actions and muttered supplications

25. I have no favor upon you in obedience
I revere, hold dear obligatory alms

26. I deliver it in full for it is justice and mercy
Though ascetics forsake it in solitude

27. You are Forgiving, so erase with a bright smile
What I have darkened of pages

28. He who is deceived by the world's laugh
Dies like one slain by poisonous smiles

29. And rides like the approach of a vanishing time
Noble, grandiose, far-striding steps

30. He walks a land that produced the best nation
Under Quran's heaven and verses' skies

31. Upon it fortune poured in morning and dusk
And safety in times of rest

32. When you visit, my Master, Muhammad's grave
And kiss the scented abode of the Greatest

33. Tears flowed with grief before the niche
For Ahmad between the veil and chamber

34. A light shone beneath every gravel mound
And fragrance diffused beneath every pebble

35. For the one who spread Allah's faith above Tan'im
And built glories above the wilderness

36. Say to Allah's Messenger, best of those sent
I tell you what you know not of regrets

37. Your nations in East and West are like
Companions of the Cave in deep slumber

38. With shining faith and way they boast
Why are they in darkness in your absence?

39. That is their past glory and pride
What harm if they work for a future?

40. This is an age whose earth and heaven
Are a realm for great bold life

41. Some walked the skies and built
Impregnable ships in the constellations

42. Say: "O Lord, enable my nation's great deeds
And adorn for them actions and resolves."
