1. Grant me a hand created for kisses,
Whoever attains it is linked by its perfection.

2. Kiss it once for its majesty,
And again for its eloquent bestower.

3. Hatim's generosity fades before it,
And it attained praise never attained before.

4. How many pleasing things does it renew
Though they cite the old as examples.

5. It renews the miracles of Christ among people,
Killing despair and reviving hope.

6. If it withholds its generosity from one who came before,
And if it bestows its generosity, it does not cease.

7. Its thankful recipient rises fortunate,
And its ungrateful recipient rises in adversity.

8. It knows, and all existence knows,
When my Master speaks a word, it becomes deed.

9. Brother of resolve, his promise and threat
Are sustenance in their decree and term.

10. Promises pass like the passing of clouds,
And your promise flows like a slow stream.

11. It sustains all people and covers all lands,
When rain descends upon a people's land.

12. My Lord, delay the abundant
If the meager hastens to avail.

13. My Master, if you have honored me,
Your beauty from before at our union.

14. And the favor of your Father upon my shoulders,
Do not ask me about the righteousness of your venerable Grandfather.

15. You are the builders of the heights through bounty,
And seasons for gazelles and lions.

16. Your words fill the hearing of time,
When the speech of the generous transitions.

17. You rose over the east like the shining stars,
Adorning its heavens from being defunct.

18. Congratulations on your feast and felicitations
From the era, its kingdoms and states.

19. And you have lived for the likes of your likes.
To you glad tidings and from you harvests.

20. Fertile of vastness, formidable of side,
When you command time, it obeys.

21. And oh, Allah's gentleness with the Muslims!
And we had help in what befell.
