And you brought light to the world at day

20. The age of honesty does not see him heedless
Of sanctity, or sleeping from revenge

21. Live, O Commander of the Faithful, for a nation
That approves of you openly and secretly

22. If there was an angel dwelling in limbs
It would dwell in hearing and sights

23. He who made the Caliphate a halo
Adorned it with the full moon among stars

24. He cast its crisis upon you and granted it to you
Over forty great predecessors

25. The horizons are given its feast every year
In the sum of years and eras

26. Babur built it a pillar of vast construction
Though it had no wall before

27. Time shakes its sides, thriving
With a youth in whom traces glow

28. I sent the soldiers as if they were the nebulae of night
And their illuminator against every vicious lion

29. With some of them, the sanctuary of God is attained
What earthly ramparts cannot attain

30. O Caliph of the Merciful, the prayer of a guided one
With leadership in shining light

31. You may let the eggs rest in their nest
Or leave the world without resolve

32. So take your might's pair and be shielded by it
Should it meet the noble ones

33. If they resort to curses, it is
The refuge of the weak and schemers' ploy

34. Of what reaches me, your pleasure, that I
Hassan desire God in my poetry

35. I have not ceased to gift every kindness to you
Until God granted you the reward of the righteous
