1. O seeker who asks of my companions
If you wish to know what is right
١. يا أَيُّها السائِلُ عَن أَصحابي
إِن كُنتَ تَبغي خَيرَ الصَوابِ
2. I will tell you of them, no lies
They are vessels of the Book
٢. أُنبِئكَ عَنهُم غَيرَ ما تَكذابِ
بِأَنَّهُم أَوعِيَةُ الكِتابِ
3. Patience in the face of calamity and harm
Ask of them, the group of factions
٣. صَبرٌ لَدى الهَيجاءِ وَالضِّرابِ
فَسَل بِذاكَ مَعشَرَ الأَحزابِ
