2. Eavesdropping and peering with evil eye
Ahmad would not be pleased if given the choice

3. To equate his successor with the maimed
The Prophet's defamer, the damned Akhzar

4. Both assembled armies ready for war
This one sold his faith and sinned

5. He who sells his faith for the world loses
To gain Egypt’s rule he claimed victory

6. When death draws near and looms ahead
I don my robe and call upon Qanbar

7. Lead my banner, do not hesitate
Caution cannot stop what's been ordained

8. When I saw death, bloody red death
I prepared the cargo and loaded the donkeys

9. Alive are the people of Yemen, who value bravery
A horn that when it strikes another horn breaks it

10. Tell Ibn Harb to stop drinking wine
Rest a little, relieve me of annoyance

11. Do not think me, O Ibn Harb, drunk
Ask about Badr and Khaybar, which we saw

12. Quraysh were like meat for slaughter at Badr
When they were given commands they resented

13. If only I had, O Ibn Harb, Ja'far
Or Hamza, the fierce lionheart

14. Quraysh would have seen the star of night shine forth
