1. With remembrance of an uncertain past, you've grown sad and weep in sorrow
Or is it from recalling foolish people

2. Who with injustice oppress those calling to the faith
Never ceasing lewdness if left unharmed

3. And treachery being their uncontrolled path
Do you not see God has diminished your best

4. For we grew angry at Uthman ibn Maz'oon
When they insult without fear of consequence

5. Stabbing, hitting, striking without remorse
So He will repay them, if not killed first

6. Measure for measure an uncheated recompense
