1. If you are blessed, then preserve that blessing,
For sins will remove blessings for sure.

2. And keep it safeguarded through piety of God,
For God is swift in vengeance and punishment.

3. If you give your soul all its hopes,
Then regret will come at their limit.

4. Where are past generations and their people?
They all perished while my Lord is eternal.

5. Be wealthy or impoverished as you wish,
You will surely meet your worldly pains.

6. For your world is tied to worries,
A lifetime is not spent except with anxiety.

7. The sweetness of your world is poisoned,
So do not eat honey except with poison.

8. The praises of your world are condemned,
So do not earn praise except through blame.

9. When an order is finished, its flaws appear,
Its perfection is denied when it is said to be complete.

10. How many who lived in blessing
Did not feel poverty until it struck!

11. How many destinies crept in negligence,
Until people were unaware until they were seized!
